Daniel Peter Roche (pronounced rowsh, /ˈroʊʃ/), born 14 October 1999) is an English child actor who played Ben Brockman in the BBC One sitcom Outnumbered from 2007 to 2014.

Life

Roche is the son of Judith (nee Haines) and rugby journalist Anthony "Tony" Roche, the youngest of three boys, and attended the Susi Earnshaw Theatre School in Barnet, before moving on to the independent University College School in Hampstead, London.
Career

For his appearances in Outnumbered as Ben, he was nominated for 'Best Male Newcomer' at the 2009 British Comedy Awards. He also appeared in the BBC One show Casualty, the 2008 film Off Season, and a number of television commercials, including one for Kingsmill bread.

Roche played the title role in a new BBC adaptation of Just William, which aired at Christmas 2010. He also appeared in the Sky1 comedy series Little Crackers, as a young Stephen Fry on 20 December 2010.
