Writing

In June 2015, Cobain's debut novella, supernatural thriller No Rest for the Wicked, was released by Booktrope's Forsaken imprint. This was followed in 2016 by poetry collection Eyes Like Lighthouses When the Boats Come Home, literary fiction novel Former.ly: The Rise and Fall of a Social Network and non-fiction book Social Paranoia: How Consumers and Brands Can Stay Safe in a Connected World.

Cobain is the owner and administrator of book blog SocialBookshelves.com, which ranked 5th in Vuelio's 2016 list of the United Kingdom's top ten literature blogs. He's also kept a journal since he was 17.

Marketing

Cobain studied at Roehampton University and worked as a music journalist before embarking on a career in social media marketing. He's been quoted by BBC News and appeared on Business Matters on the BBC World Service. He spoke at SMX Milan in 2015 and at SMX London in 2016.

Personal life

Originally from Tamworth, Staffordshire, Cobain moved to London to study at Roehampton University before relocating to Buckinghamshire.

In 2012, Cobain appeared on quiz show Pointless.

Cobain suffers from anxiety disorder and depression.
