Career
In November 2002, Counsell founded Realmac Software. He founded the company in his spare time and worked evening and weekends learning how to build software. Counsell partnered with Impending Inc., to develop Hatch, a virtual pet app for iOS, in 2012. The following year, Huit Denim listed Counsell on its list of "Makers and Mavericks." Counsell was included on iMore's 2014 Hall of Fame.
