Dahachowk is a village development committee (VDC) in the western part of Kathmandu District, Nepal. It borders Ramkot VDC on the north, Balambu VDC on the east, Barbhanjyang VDC and Dhading district on the west and Mahadevstan VDC on the south.
According to the 2001 census, it has a total population of 3860, of which 1946 are male and 1915 are female. A total of 770 households live there with an average family size of 5.01 members. The literacy rate is 40%.
Kalu Pande memorial

The burial ground on hill top of Kaji Kalu Pande is a popular hiking spot. It lies in Chandragiri, western outskirts of Kathmandu from where Gorkha can be seen.
