DPS Megacity was established in 2004 at Kolkata belonging to the DPS family of schools. It is the only DPS other than DPS Newtown Kolkata to be affiliated to the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE).

Built in 2004, DPS Megacity is one of the 5 DPS schools in Kolkata and is affiliated to the ICSE board. Mrs. Indrani Sanyal has been principal since 2006, succeeding Mrs. Mala Roy. Its pro-vice chairman is Mr. Vija Agarwall. The school has more than 4500 students and has a large teaching faculty of 300 teachers. It also has a hostel facility for students from Class V onwards.
