DMI - St. Eugene university is a Roman Catholic university in Zambia run by the Daughters of Mary Immaculate. It is named after Saint Eugène de Mazenod. It offers Bachelors and master's degrees as well as research programmes. It has three campuses at Chibombo, Chipata and Woodlands.

History

The school was founded in 1984. Its first campus was built at Woodlands in Lusaka. A few years later a second campus was built in Chibombo District, Central Province, and then a third campus at Chipata in Eastern Province.

In 2014, the University signed a contract with the Zambian government, and is participating in a nationwide Zambian government programme to train 2,000 new mathematics teachers, and to participate in upgrading the qualifications of elementary and secondary educators.
