Tocadisco (Spanish for "turntable") is a German DJ, producer and multi-instrumentalist.

Born in Berlin, but grew up as the son of the photographer and media designer Gerry Böer in Mönchengladbach, where he also regularly (even today) hangs at the club the night.

1996 Tocadiscos began professional career as a DJ at Club Unique in Dusseldorf. The club was elected with him as a DJ by the magazine Prinz few times at the best club in town. In 2000 Tocadisco moved to Cologne and taught there be a studio.

He produced several remixes for different record companies. The best-known case was "Lifetimes" by Slam. His mix was chosen as one of the 12 best remixes of 2001 by the readers of the magazine Groove. In October 2003 he signed a contract with the German record company Superstar Recordings. His first single under this label was "Nobody (Likes the Records That I Play)". It reached number 39 in the German charts. In 2005 Tocadisco was chosen by the magazine Raveline one of the best newcomer of 2004.

2005 to be between the chairs remix of Mylos In My Arms into one of the most played dance tracks of the year. This was followed by his second single "You're No Good for Me" 'and its double Single Music Loud / Crazy Cursor.

On Superstar Recordings Tocadisco published a series of club EP`s under the pseudonym: "AC / OT"

In September 2006, Tocadisco remixed a track by Michael Cretu's project "Enigma - Eppur si muove" of Enigma's latest album A Posteriori.

His remix for "The Egg - Walking Away" (Great Stuff Records) was chosen by Citroën for the advertising campaign for the Model C4. Furthermore, used David Guetta the instrumental and mixed it with one of his biggest hits, "Love Do not Let Me Go" as a bootleg version, reaching # 3 on the UK charts.

On 25 January 2008 his first album "Solo" was released. In August of the same year the single Tomorrow Can Wait with David Guetta and Chris Willis was successful.

He has produced with New Order, Tiga, David Guetta, Kelis, Fatboy Slim, Robin Schulz, Steve Angello, Axwell, Armin van Buuren and many more music and written.

On September 18, 2009, his second album "TOCA 128.0 FM" appeared on the German dance label Superstar Recordings.

2011 was the single "Tequila Sunrise", which was published in cooperation with the Dutch producer Afrojack on Wall / Spinnin Records.

In 2012 he created a big summer hit of the year with his remix for Milk & Sugar`s "Let the Sunshine". Furthermore, he then released his third album "FR3E" initially as a free download on the German label "weplay". In the same year the single That Miami Track appeared in collaboration with Julian Smith.

The 22.02.2013 published song "Get Away" with the singer of the band "Sono" Lennart A. Salomon was a surprise success in Hungary.

2013 used Fatboyslim and Riva Starr feat Beardyman a sample of Tocadisco`s Track "Bat3ria" (from his third album "FR3E") and created their hit "Eat, Sleep, Rave, Repeat". This track beinflusste pop culture far beyond the music scene beyond. However, the sample was initially not officially approved. But after a short negotiation Tocadisco was involved as a composer of songs.

On 26/08/2013 the track "Falling" was released on the English label "Toolroom Recordings".

2014 managed Tocadisco twice at No. 1 of the German dance charts with his remixes for Faul & Wad Ad - "Changes" and Robin Schulz - "Sun goes down".

The English record label "Toolroom Records" and the company "M-Audio" Tocadisco worked on a 2014 published musical instrument name "Trigger Finger Pro"

2015 published a series of Tocadisco EP`s on his label TOCA 45 Recordings (Brasil EP, Snake EP)

On 1 May 2016 appeared Tocadisco`s fourth album "IV" on TOCA45 Recordings.

2016 appeared a remix for the Australian group "Yolanda be cool" - "From me to you" (Tocadisco Remix) on the Dutch label Spinnin 'Records. It is based on a new sung version of Beatles classic Performed by Bobby McFerrin.
