Cuba, an African Odyssey is a French 2007 documentary film directed by Jihan El Tahri.

Synopsis
The documentary follows the numerous Cold War conflicts which erupted on the African continent from the early 1960s to the late 1980s, focusing on Cuba's instrumental role in some of the leading African nationalist movements. It narrates the developing concept of "internationalism" on the continent, which provided the impetuous for Cuban military interventions in Angola, Ethiopia, and elsewhere.
