Cry in December

2008-2009 : Formation

Cry In December was founded in Karawang, West Java, Indonesia in 2008 by vocalist Sonny Adi Putra and guitarist Agithya Asa Gilang (Agityasa). Sony invite Fiqhi as bassist to join the band, then Agityasa invite Aditya as guitarist and Ashary as drummer. Cry In December formed on the basic of friendship since they're was child. The name philosophy of Cry In December influenced by the life as they're born in December. They began performing on the stage with the taste music like The Devil Wears Prada.

2010 : Vacuum

In 2010, each busyness make their progress hampered. They're choose a decision for vacuum

2011 : Reborn

After Vacuum from shows, Agityasa as guitarist come to Bandung to continue his study. Bored by his busyness, Agityasa create a song and call Ashary Firstyan to continue fill the beats. After full song is done, He call all members to hear his sample. Finally Cry In December make a deal for continue the band. The first single created is Funeral For Dear Slut, they share the song for free. Not satisfied with only 1 song, they make a new song titled Let's Broke The Diamond, released by bandself. They come back to the stage with their songs.

2012-2013 : New Single, New Concepts

In 2012 Cry In December join with independent heavy music label Lunatic Records based in Bandung, Indonesia. They releasing a new single titled UNVISION in December 2012. Since releasing their single, they are attracted much attention from modern metal listener. They are participate in Hellprint United Day III at Bandung, Indonesia on September 2012. However, bassist Fiqhi Ilman Nafi decided to leave the band due to work commitments. They use the additional bassist for shows.

2014-Present : Creating The First Debut Album

In 2014 Cry In December create their first debut album titled The Reason Why We Believe, Their full-length debut album will be released by Lunatic Records.
