Crowned Heads is a short story by P. G. Wodehouse, first published in US in The Argosy in June 1914 and then in UK in Pearson's Magazine in April 1915. It was also included in the collection The Man with Two Left Feet published in UK in 1917.

Plot summary

A young but unattractive girl, Kate Bennett, meets a young and attractive man, Ted Brady, who falls in love with her and proposes to her. However her grandfather, Matthew Bennett, who lives under illusion that he is the King of England, objects to their marriage. Matthew changes his mind when Ted wins elections at the Mardi Gras and becomes a King of Coney Island.
