Cross Harbour Bus Route 112 is a bus route operated by Kowloon Motor Bus (KMB) and New World First Bus (NWFB) in Hong Kong. It runs between So Uk Estate in Sham Shui Po District and North Point (Pak Fuk Road) in Eastern District and provides air-conditioned service. The route via Sham Shui Po, Cross-Harbour Tunnel, Causeway Bay.

History

  • 1 October 1973: In order to assist Cross Harbour Bus Route 102 which ran between Lai Chi Kok and Shau Kei Wan in Eastern District by the time with a great number of passengers, this route was introduced to run between Mong Kok (Lai Chi Kok Road), which is currently the site of Metropark Hotel Mongkok, and Causeway Bay (Lau Sin Street).
  • 1 February 1975: Terminus of both sides was extended from Mong Kok and Causeway Bay till So Uk and North Point respectively, also, replaced Cross Harbour Bus Route 102's role to serve Causeway Bay.
  • 11 November 1991: In order to make use of the air-conditioned buses after serving Cross Harbour Bus Route 348 (ran between Cheung On and Sheung Wan, now replaced by Cross Harbour Bus Route 948), route 112 became one of earliest cross harbour bus route serving with air-conditioned buses.
