Crogga valley railway


The Crogga Valley Railway is a privately owned miniature 7¼ inch gauge railway immediately south of the Isle of Man Railway station at Port Soderick and part of the railway can be seen from passing trains.

The railway is not open to the public and is only accessible by invitation.

The railway is operated by a small group of volunteers.

History

The line was originally constructed in 2000 to only half of its original length however has nearly doubled in length to cover the grounds of the estate. The railway currently operates a fleet of both steam and diesel locomotives as well as a varied fleet of rolling stock.
