Cristina Paluselli (born October 23, 1973) is an Italian cross country skier who was competing since 1993 to 2006.

Biography

She won ten races of the FIS World Marathon Cup, ending up as 1st in the ranking for two consecutive years (2004/5 and 2005/6 seasons).

As member of the Italian National Team, she won a bronze medal in the 4 x 5 km at the 2001 FIS Nordic World Ski Championships in Lahti and had her best individual finish of 16th in the 15 km at the 2003 FIS Nordic World Ski Championships.

Paluselli's best individual finish at the Winter Olympics was 39th in the 10 km both in 2002 and 2006. She has eleven individual victories at various distances, mainly at the FIS Marathon Cup, from 2002 to 2006. She was the winner in the most prestigious ski marathons such as Jizerska padesatka (CZE), Bedirchov (CZE), Oberammergau (GER), Marcialonga (Val di Fiemme e Fassa ITA), Livigno (ITA), Rena - Lillehammer (NOR) and Vasaloppet (Mora SWE).
