Craig MacDonald (born October 3, 1982) is a former professional hockey forward who is a native of Milton, Ontario.

Career

He played four years at Elmira College in Elmira, New York where he recorded 43 goals and 50 assists for a total of 93 points over his collegiate career. During the 2004–05 season he led the ECAC West in conference play in points and tied with his team mate Jerrett Konkle for first in goals. The night after losing in double overtime in the playoffs to end his collegiate career MacDonald was playing for the Elmira Jackals. He played with the Jackals through the 2006 season then played with the New Mexico Scorpions until the team suspended operations after the 2008–09 season. MacDonald joined the Bloomington PrairieThunder of the International Hockey League the following season, setting not only a personal high of 44 goals and 46 assists for 90 points, but set a team record for scoring the Fastest Goal to start game making the goal 18 seconds into the game. On February 7, 2011, he was traded by the PrairieThunder, which joined the Central Hockey League as a part of the CHL's acquisition of the IHL for the 2010–11 CHL season, to the Arizona Sundogs.
