The original CCV consisted of the Westhampton Course 37°34′16″N 77°31′52″W in Richmond, which was built by Herbert Barker in 1908, renovated in 1921 by Donald Ross, and renovated again in 1931 by Fred Findlay. Its James River Course 37°34′13″N 77°36′41″W in Tuckahoe, in Henrico County, was the site of the 1955 and 1975 U.S. Amateur. The third course is the Tuckahoe Creek Course 37°34′23″N 77°37′32″W, also in Tuckahoe.
