Council of Arabic Culture is an international organization founded in Pakistan in 2014 to disseminate & preserve Arab culture, bring the Non-Arab Muslims closer to their fellow Arabs and promote Arabic language. The organization usually called by its short name CACP (Council of Arabic Culture, Pakistan).

History
CACP established in 2014 in Islamabad, capital of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to address emerging global challenges for a sustainable cultural development and to derive guidance from Arab Culture in order to maintain harmony and moderation in the society.
The Council is the foremost and pioneer institution of Arab Culture in the world with reference to its objectives and is unique in terms of its mission, vision and specialty in promotion of the Arab Culture. CACP strives for contributing its share in the following shape;

Quality management and organizational excellence
CACP seeks to adopt state of the art resources to make its work in-line with international standardss. In this regard, the procedural requirements are under process with International Organization for Standardization to obtain relevant ISO 9001 certification of administrative standards.
Promotion of Arabic Language
Arabic Language is the lifeline for the Muslim Ummah, being a source of coordination for thoughts and ideology. Moreover, it is the ideal way, means and lingua franca for nurturing love, unity and harmony among Muslims. That is why Arabic language acts as a cultural fort for Muslims to safeguard their ideological foundations. And all this gives the Arabic language cultural status that protects the identity of the Islamic nation. The Muslims have been (for long consistently) emphasizing on teaching Arabic and promoting it for those interested in it, despite differences of their races and colors and are still emphasizing on it. However, Arabic is no longer a specific language confined to the Arabs alone, but has become a universal language adopted by millions of Muslims in the world to relate to their religion and Islamic culture. Presently, world is observing a sheer desire from the Non-Muslims to learn the language to connect with the people of Language on one hand and to connect with the Arab and Islamic heritage on the other.
The teaching of Arabic to non-native speakers is considered to be a fertile area having immense potential. Due to the large demand for the language on one side and the lack of efforts in this field from the other side, many institutions interested in the promotion of the Arabic language have spent their efforts to present good achievements in this field, however, the demand for Arab language cannot be compared to the efforts spent and they cannot be deemed satisfactory and worth mentioning. CACP while playing its role in Pakistan, aspire to make an effective contribution in spreading the Arabic language in one of the largest Muslim countries.
