Taxonomy

The genus was originally described in the Aegeriidae (=Sesiidae), transferred to the Heliodinidae by Meyrick, to the Schreckensteiniidae by Fletcher, to the Heliodinidae by Naumann and finally to the Glyphipterigidae by Heppner and Duckworth.
