Cosmic Dancer is the fifth studio album by British pop-rock project Shakespears Sister. The album was initially released exclusively through Shakespears Sister's website, however it received a full release in November 2012.

Background
Cosmic Dancer consists more of an acoustic rock sound compared to the electronic-oriented Songs from the Red Room. The majority of tracks on the album are not original, being covers of classic tracks or reworkings of older Shakespears Sister songs. Fahey had announced as early as April 2010 that she was working on an acoustic album, for the purpose of it "being a nice thing to do for the fans". She also worked on the album with her son, Sam. No singles were released from the album, although "Dancing Barefoot" and "Someone Else's Girl" were released as special promotional singles through exclusively Shakespears Sister's website.
