The Coppa Italia (Italian Cup) is a rugby union competition in Italy for domestic clubs. The competition is second to the National Championship of Excellence. The competition has been contested annually since 1967, though it was not held from 1974 to 1980, and 1983 to 1994, and again in 1996, 1999 and 2002. The first club to win the competition was CUS Roma.
