Contents
Like all species within the genus Conus, these snails are predatory and venomous. They are capable of "stinging" humans, therefore live ones should be handled carefully or not at all.

The size of the shell varies between 15 mm and 40 mm.
Distribution
This species occurs in the Eastern Atlantic Ocean off the Cape Verdes. Being an insular endemic, and living only in a small area (BaĆa do Navio Quebrado, North of Maio), this species is at high risk of extinction.
