Constantine Sandis, FRSA is a British philosopher working on philosophy of action and moral psychology. He read Literae Humaniores at St Anne’s College, University of Oxford, where he was taught by Roger Crisp and Gabriele Taylor, and received his Ph.D. from the University of Reading (2005), under the supervision of Jonathan Dancy. He is currently Professor of Philosophy at the University of Hertfordshire, and was previously a Professor at Oxford Brookes University. He is also Secretary of the British Wittgenstein Society.

Sandis is the editor of the Palgrave "Philosophers in Depth" series and has contributed regularly to The Times Literary Supplement and Times Higher Education. He has also co-written a number of papers on the ethics of risk-taking with Nassim Nicholas Taleb and hosts the Bloomsbury's Why Philosophy Matters series of events.
