Taxonomy

The genus has previously been classified in the Phytometrinae subfamily of Erebidae or the Calpinae subfamily of the Noctuidae family. The genus is tentatively classified in the Hypeninae but needs further phylogenetic analysis to determine its proper subfamily placement.
