Notable events

The College Libertarians and Republicans of University of North Carolina at Greensboro teamed together in an official complaint of an anti-discriminatory statement required for a student organization's constitution. The statement read: “The Anti-Discrimination statement must include that student organizations may not discriminate on the basis of race, color, creed, religion, gender, age, national origin, disability, military, veteran status, political affiliation or sexual orientation.” In response the following statement was released: "It is clearly unreasonable to request political organizations to admit members of opposing political parties. To require them to do so would sabotage the level of political discourse on campus."
