Colin Brooks is a drummer from Little Rock, Arkansas, USA. He started playing at a young age and has been a member of over 15 bands. Brooks was given the nickname "The Machine" at an early age due to his precision and energy. After playing in many Little Rock bands, he moved to New York City to pursue his musical career. Brooks played drums on the Dan Zanes and Friends album Catch That Train! which won the 2007 Grammy Award for Best Musical Album for Children.
