Cochin Herald is an Indian business magazine. Published bi-monthly, it features original reporting, commentary and analysis. Its headquarters are located in Kochi City, Kerala. The motto of Cochin Herald magazine is "Business Story Telling". It was established as a Sunday Newspaper in 1992.

History
Dr S.A. Mohamed Asharaf., founded Cochin Herald on November 1, 1992 as a weekly newspaper in Malayalam. S.A. Mohammed Ashraf was chairman of Cochin Herald, a post he held until his death in 2016. He got a doctorate for his research on Islamic history at the age of 55 from Kerala University. Dr S.A. Mohammed Asharaf was assisted in his later years by his eldest son, Ansif Ashraf who started Cochin Herald business magazine in the year 2012. On Ashraf's death, his eldest son Ansif Ashraf became Chairman of Cochin Herald and Chief Editor of Cochin Herald magazine.

The Kochi-based English magazine Cochin Herald is part of the Cochin Herald Media Network LLP and managed by Ansif Ashraf son of Dr S.A. Mohammed Ashraf. The family of Dr.S.A. Mohammad Ashraf owns a 90 percent stake in Cochin Herald Media Network LLP. Ansif Ashraf joined Cochin Herald in 2012 and he became the chairman in 2016.

Kerala State Business Excellence Awards are the Kerala's most preferred and recognized awards hosted and presented by Cochin Herald and Alleem Knowledge Centre, UAE to recognize for Businessmen, Politicians and Administrators introduced in the year 2012 and awarded for the fifth time in 2016 in which 'UAE Exchange' Bagged Businessman of the Year Award.

The first Kerala State Business Excellence Awards 2012 was hosted on 17 March 2012 at Cochin. It was organized by Cochin Herald and presented by Humriya Free Zone Authority (Government of Sharjah). The event was inaugurated by state minister Shri. K. C. Joseph and Dr. Rashid Al Leem, Director General of Hamriyah Free Zone Authority. V.P. Nandakumar, Manapuram Finance Limited bagged Business Man of the Year award.
2013
The second Kerala State Business Excellence Awards 2013 took place on 27 April at Cochin, Crown Plaza. The event was inaugurated by central minister of state for consumer affairs, Mr. K.V. Thomas, Finance Minister of the state Mr. K.M. Mani, Dr. Rashid Al Leem, Director General of Hamriyah Free Zone Authority and Mr. Ansif Ashraf, Chief Editor of Cochin Herald. Riaz Ahmed, Abad Group bagged Business Man of the Year Award.
2014
The third Kerala State Business Excellence Awards 2014 took place on 12 January 2014 at Cochin, Crown Plaza. The awards were given away by Judy Paul, Mayor of Davei, Florida, USA; Tim Guillois, CEO, The Links India; Carel Hatten, County Representative, Florida; MP Joseph, IAS, Advisor to Labor Minister I/R of Additional Chief Secretary, Government of Kerala. M.G. George Muthoot, Muthoot Group bagged Business Man of the Year Award.
2015
The fourth KSBEA Global Leadership Awards 2015 took place on 4 June 2015 at Sharjah Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Sharjah, UAE. It was organized by Cochin Herald and partnered by Alleem Knowledge Center, Indian Business and Professional Council (IBPC), Texila American University and Young Chamber of Commerce. Dr Shrikant Bhasi, Chairman of Carnival Group bagged Business Man of the Year Award.
2016
The fifth KSBEA Global Leadership Awards 2016 took place on 30 April 2016 at Cochin, Crown Plaza. It was organized by Cochin Herald and Young Chamber of Commerce. The award was presented by H.E. Hamdan Mohamad Al Murshidi, President, Arab Business Club, and Mr. M.G. Rajamanickam, District Collector of Ernakulam. V George Antony, MD of UAE Exchange bagged Business Man of the Year Award and P.V. Sunil bagged the CEO of the Year Award.
