Gameplay
There are multiple game modes including single race and tag. Players can choose from different areas like the Old West and San Francisco. Club Drive uses little or no textures, instead using flat shaded polygons. The player must gather Power Balls scattered throughout the different racing stages to advance to the next level or must finish the circuit on the stage that the player is on. Club Drive also features a two-player mode.
Reception
Quick-Draw McGraw of GamePro described the game as "unusual experience" compared to other contemporary racing simulators, but criticized it for repetitive gameplay and "unfulfilled potential". Next Generation rated the game 1/5 stars, criticized it for its many flaws and described it as to be "avoided at all costs".
