Born on 26 January in St Leonards-on-Sea, Sussex, UK, he started his career in the media in 1984 as TV presenter and producer for Videomusic, the first musical TV channel in Europe. presented the Italian links for the World Music Video Awards (300 million viewers) with Bill Wyman and Rick Hutton in 1986 and Estate Rock with Ron Wood on RAI 1.
