The managment climbing to new lows full demo album

Climbing to New Lows is a demo album by the American rock band The Management (now known as MGMT) that inadvertently became their first full release. Climbing to New Lows was intended to be only a demo album that was leaked on the Internet in 2005. It featured some tracks from their self-released We (Don't) Care EP in 2004 such as "We Care", "We Don't Care", "Grutu (Just Becuz)" and "Kids". It was their last release as The Management.

Contents

In 2004, the band changed their name from The Management to MGMT and signed with Cantora Records for their first official release, the Time to Pretend EP.

Reviews

  • "Climbing to New Lows—a catchy demo set from their undergrad days—will make anyone see what attracted the bigwigs at Columbia in the first place. With music and lyrics centered around innocence and sincerity..." – Andrea Domanick, Tiny Mix Tapes Reviews
