Clepsigenes dissota is a moth in the Xyloryctidae family, and the only species in the genus Clepsigenes. It was described by Meyrick in 1930 and is found in New Guinea.

The wingspan is about 28 mm. The forewings are whitish, with the scaling ribbed between the veins, and some scattered black specks. There is a blackish-grey subquadrate spot on the base of the costa. The discal stigmata are black, with a dark grey dot above the first, some pale brownish suffusion and black sprinkling between these and some faint greyish suffusion about veins 7 and 8. The terminal edge is black between the veins, forming a thicker mark at the apex. The hindwings are pale whitish-violet.
