Claudia Ruiz Massieu Salinas (born 10 July 1972) is a Mexican lawyer and politician affiliated to the Institutional Revolutionary Party. She is the incumbent Secretary of Foreign Affairs following her appointment by President Enrique Pena Nieto in 2015.

Personal background
Claudia Ruiz Massieu Salinas is daughter of the former governor of Guerrero Jose Francisco Ruiz Massieu (assassinated in 1994). And also niece of former Mexican president Carlos Salinas de Gortari (whose notorious brother, Raul Salinas de Gortari, spent ten years in prison accused of masterminding the murder of Jose Francisco Ruiz Massieu).
