Clarice Navarro-Ratzlaff State Representative Clarice Navarro was elected in November 2012, and she is currently serving her second term in the Colorado State Legislature for House District 47 (Fremont, Pueblo, Otero counties). State Representative Clarice Navarro is a small business owner, conservative activist, State Legislator, wife and mother of two daughters. The Representative and her family currently reside in beautiful Pueblo, Colorado.

Representative Navarro was raised by a single mother in the heart of Southeastern Colorado. Growing up her mom taught her about the value of a hard day's work, the significance of a dollar, responsibility, and the necessity to give back to the community. Today she is committed to instilling these values in her daughters.

Starting from a young age, Clarice worked at her grandma's restaurant in various positions, and she learned what it takes to run and work in a small business. In her adulthood she has worked as an educator for the Colorado Department of Corrections and Las Animas High School and the Rural Development Division of the United States Department of Agriculture. She has also been a community leader in several positions; she has served on the Las Animas City Council, Kountry Kids Advisory Board of Directors and was appointed by Chief Justice Mullarkey to the 16th Judicial Review Committee.

Clarice serves as the Behavioural Health Caucus Chair for the Colorado Behavioural Health Council, the Colorado of Federation of Republican Women Legislative Committee Chairwoman, and is involved with the Colorado State Fair Foundation. Within the legislature, Representative Navarro serves on the Local Government Committee and Business Affairs and Labor Committee, both of which she is very passionate about. Clarice has won awards and been recognized by “Common Sense in the Courtroom”, Legislator of the Year by Mental Health Colorado, Principles of Liberty and the American Conservative Union. Clarice is an outspoken conservative voice for personal responsibility and accountability in the Colorado State Legislature, and she is running for her third term.
