City of Sound is an experimental/progressive rock group out of Minneapolis Minnesota. They formed in 2006, shortly after the break-up of Morrison's/Merry's previous project Crashing by Design and Kindvall's/Dickie's previous project White Weather.

History

Formed in late 2006, City of Sound shortly put up two demos, White Summer and Satan's Daughter. The band independently released a debut CD, "L'implosion", in February, 2009. The band quickly gained a local following, and has been gaining attention with favorable reviews from both Alternative Press and AbsolutePunk. They are currently working on a new EP that has yet to have a release date.
