Other furnishings were added and the business was joined by younger brother Keith and his friends Mike Lennon, Garry Ikola, and Steve Wilder. As waterbed industry momentum faded, the first City Furniture opened in August 1994. Existing Waterbed City stores were converted into City Furniture stores.
