She was a collective member of Black Sheep Books in Montpelier, Vermont until it closed in June 2011. She is a collective member of Station 40 in San Francisco.
She has taught at the Institute for Social Ecology in Plainfield, Vermont.
She was born in East Lansing, Michigan to Barbara and David Milstein.
