Background

She was born at the William Harvey Hospital, Ashford, Kent, England, in 1986.
Hers is a singing family as her mother was once in the church choir and her twin brother, Jude who plays the piano and guitar, is also a medical doctor.
Music career
Ben-Ameh's first public singing performance at a small concert in her hometown at the age of 14. Her signature pop blues style was first singled out for attention when she won the MTN sponsored talent contest held in University of Jos, Plateau State-Nigeria in 2005.
In 2007, she beat over three thousand other contestants across Nigeria to win the Nokia First Chance music reality TV show. watched by millions of viewers.
