In 2006 Chris Nathaniel acted as an adviser to the Football Association on the official England World Cup Song – “World at Your Feet” by Embrace. Chris Nathaniel brokered the deal between Jamaica and England in the negotiation of the last friendly game ahead of the 2006 World Cup. This tournament was Jamaica’s biggest grossing game apart from their World Cup appearance. Chris Nathaniel is notably associated with the first attempt of an African conglomerate to bid for an English Premiership football club, Newcastle United.

In 2007 the NVA Entertainment Group sister company, 2NV Records, released the single "Heartbroken" by T2 featuring Jodie Aysha. The track sold over 300,000 copies and reached No.2 in the UK Charts.

NVA Entertainment's portfolio expanded to include sports management. Chris Nathaniel’s first major sports contract was securing a commercial deal for Chelsea F.C. and England defender John Terry. He worked similarly with Rio Ferdinand, who later became Nathaniel's business partner. Chris Nathaniel created the TV series “Rio’s World Cup wind up’s presented by Rio Ferdinand which was commissioned by ITV and featured high-profile football figures such as David Beckham, Wayne Rooney, Gary Neville and Ashley Cole.

The pair met with Tony Blair and Gordon Brown to discuss youth issues during their tenures as Prime Minister. This led to the government backing of the Rio Ferdinand Live the Dream Foundation, which the pair co-founded in 2009. The charity aims to inspire young people to education and employment pathways, as well as providing role models and mentors

In 2009, Nathaniel worked as an executive producer on the movie Dead Man Running starring 50 Cent. Nathaniel worked to ensure that long term unemployed people would be given roles on the film set as part of the production deal. [1] Later on in the year, NVA Management worked with Aston Villa footballer Curtis Davies organising a Christmas Party at the Town Hall in Birmingham for underprivileged children.

Chris Nathaniel negotiated a multimillion-pound contract between Jay-Z, Chelsea F.C. and England footballer Ashley Cole. They worked together to open the US rapper’s 40/40 restaurant/bar franchise in London and other entertainment related projects with emphasis on supporting young talent. Nathaniel was voted one of the top 30 most influential black people in Britain by The Voice. He won this title consecutively from 2009 to 2011, and in 2010 broke into The Times Sport Power 100 list.

Later In 2009, as chief executive Chris Nathaniel was involved with NVA Entertainment Group’s representation of Brazilian footballer Robinho during the frenzy of media interest that surrounded the footballer after being arrested in Manchester on suspicion of rape. On 7 April 2009 West Yorkshire Police announced he would not face any charges and has since been fully cleared of any allegations.

In September 2010, NVA Entertainment expanded its operations to Ghana, focusing on identifying and developing young talent in sport, music and entertainment by securing representation of defender Daniel Opare, who played for the Ghana national team.

In 2010, Nathaniel was instructed by Mumbai entrepreneur Saurin Shah to lodge a £25 million takeover bid for Premier League side Blackburn Rovers.

2015 saw the most expensive African footballer Wilfried Bony and boxing champion Adrien Broner added to Chris Nathaniel’s roster of clients.
