Chinmay Udgirkar (Marathi: चिन्मय उदगीरकर) is an Indian actor. He was born in Shrirampur on 8 October 1985. He debuted with a reality show called Maharashtracha Superstar in 2009 and established himself as an actor in Marathi television and film industry.

Early life
Udgirkar became interested in acting in childhood. He completed his education at CDO Meri High School in Nashik. He passed his 10th board exams pursued a degree in science at RYK College of Science in Nashik. During his 12th year of school he decided to pursue acting. He then joined Genius theatre to act in experimental plays. He also acted in a number of local advertisements in Nashik in college, as well as featuring in music videos.
Career
He was selected for Maharashtracha Superstar on Zee Marathi in 2009. He reached the top 12 in the show based on public voting. He struggled in Mumbai before he scored the lead role in soap opera Swapnanchya Palikadle playing Shreyas Patkar on Star Pravah in 2010. He appeared on some 1000 episodes.
His partnership with his Gauri Nalawade who plays his wife Vaidehi in the show also became extremely popular. He won the MaTa Sanmaan and the Rising Star awards for his performance.
Udgirkar returned to anchor Maharashtracha Dancing Superstar - Chhotte Masters, a reality dance show. He debuted in films in 2012 in Shyamche Vadil, in which he played the lead role of Shyam. He was nominated for the MaTa Sanmaan award for his performance and also won the Saunskruti Kaladarpan Award of Best Debut Actor. After a superb come back with a nicely carved out manly body he did a film Vajlach Pahije. Since few months, he is in the lead role of Neil Jahgirdar in a marathi daily soap Nanda Saukhya Bhare on Zee Marathi as Son of a lead role mother enacted by Suhas Paranjape.
