Education

Okasi completed three Ivy League degrees in total. She attended Cornell University at age 16 and graduated at the age of 19 as the youngest to have done so within three years.

At age 20, Okasi was accepted into a Ph.D. program at Georgetown University, but left after a year. She completed two more master's degrees at the University of Pennsylvania and Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.

Career

Okasi modeled briefly after college.

As a formally trained journalist and commentator, Okasi has contributed frequently to the all-women "Power Panel" segments on Fox News show, America Live, as well as local and cable news shows, such as CNN HLN's Prime News, HLN's Joy Behar, CW11 Pix Morning News, and Fox News' Fox & Friends.

A serial entrepreneur, Okasi created several high-revenue new media publications derived from her multicultural background, serving as editor-in-chief. She launched yet another publication in 2012.

While mainly a television personality, her print commentary has been featured in such publications as AOL Black Voices, BET, Loop 21, Huffington Post, MSNBC.com, Uptown Magazine, and Philadelphia Inquirer.
