Chillianwala Station Chak No. 1 is historically interlinked to the village of Chillianwala on account of name given to the railway station built on Lalamusa - Malakwal / Sargodha railway link. Due to railway line and efficient road network, the town is conveniently commutable to and from important cities, such as, Mandi Bahauddin, Gujrat, Lahore and Islamabad.

In order to solve the identity problem of this town, a new name Hayyat Abad has been proposed. Necessary legal requirements will be met in near future so that this famous place is recognized by a modern name.
