Chikkajala is a place located on outskirts of Bengaluru, Karnataka, India on NH7. It is referred as a Pre-Historic site by ASI (Archaeological survey of India) monument list. This place has 950-year-old Channarayaswamy Temple built by Hoysala king Vishnuvardhana.

It is said that it used to be a Sarai (resting place for travelers) or choultry along this road leading North. It has a small temple, Kalyani (pond) and an other structures built in stone. The entire campus is secured by a small circular fortification.

In year 2012 part of this fort wall was demolished to widen the NH7. [1]
