Chikezie Okorie better known as Chikezie (KZ) (born September 19, 1989) is an American singer and songwriter from Reno, Nevada. Known for his ballad "Ecstacy".

Early life

Okorie was born in Atlanta, Georgia, but grew up in Reno, Nevada. Chikezie became interested in music while watching Michael Jackson. Elementary school choir teacher saw the raw talent by signing up Chikezie in local talent shows in Reno, Nevada at the age of eight. Growing up to become a notable athlete and entertainer, Okorie began to pursue a career in music by auditioning for American Idol in 2007 where he attended and played football at Fullerton College in Southern California. The following year, Okorie later toured a series of shows called "Movin to Motown" in the west coast area to then later audition for The Voice in 2011, making it to the shows second callbacks in Los Angeles, California. Since then, Chikezie has been working independently and doing shows with numerous artist such as Brandon Rogers (singer), YG (rapper), Baby Bash, LoveRance, Sage The Gemini, Ginuwine and Color Me Badd.
