Routes

  • The C&E Line: A former Milwaukee Road branch line in the city of Chicago, this was the first route acquired by the CTM. An EMD SW8 is the locomotive assigned to this line, which serves regular three customers in the Goose Island industrial area.
  • Centex Industrial Park: The CTM took over operations in this location from the Central Illinois Railroad in April 2007. Located in Elk Grove Village, Illinois, this is former Chicago and North Western trackage that was operated by Union Pacific until 2001. The locomotive assigned here is an EMD SW1500.
  • Bensenville Industrial Park: The most recent addition is the Bensenville Industrial Park in Bensenville, Illinois. Located roughly adjacent to the Elk Grove Village operation, this former Milwaukee Road branch was leased to the CTM by Canadian Pacific in 2007. A former Illinois Central GP10 serves as the power here.
