Chi vuol essere miliardario? (English translation: Who wants to be a billionaire?) was an Italian game show based on the original British format of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?. The show was hosted by Gerry Scotti. The main goal of the game was to win 1,000,000,000 Italian lire by answering 15 multiple-choice questions correctly. There were three lifelines - fifty fifty, phone a friend and ask the audience. Chi vuol essere miliardario? was broadcast from 2000 to 2001. It was shown on the Italian TV station Canale 5.
