Chelsea TV is a television channel, dedicated to the fans of the Premier League club Chelsea.

Contents

The channel first launched in August 2001 and is available on Sky channel 421 (SD) and 422 (HD) in the UK and Ireland and is the only broadcaster filming at the club's training ground on a daily basis. It broadcasts 7 days a week in the UK and Ireland for 17 hours a day - 8am to 1am. Subscribers can watch a live stream of the linear channel on www.chelseafc.com

Daily short form & VOD content is published online, on mobile and via social network platforms. All online and mobile content is broadcast live and published in HD.

Chelsea TV online subscriptions are available via a Chelsea Fan Club membership

The channel broadcasts live from Stamford Bridge and the club’s Cobham training ground on a daily basis and is available internationally as either 3 or 6 hour ‘block’ content or as full representation of the UK channel.

    The channel has various presenters, and a mix of ex-players and pundits.

    Regular pundits include

    1970s/1980s = Clive Walker, Tommy Langley

    1980s = Pat Nevin

    1990s = Jason Cundy, Frank Sinclair

    2000s = Jody Morris

    Regular presenters include Gigi Salmon, Ben Andrews, Lee Parker and Neil Barnett.

    Chelsea matches are mainly commentated by Ben Andrews (who hosted the 2007 League Cup Final, 2007 FA Cup Final and 2008 UEFA Champions League Final), with Matt Davies and Gary Taphouse, and Trevor Harris also used. Jason Cundy is often co-commentator and is highly enthusiastic when Chelsea score in big games.

    Gigi Salmon currently presents many shows on the channel and has been a Chelsea TV station presenter since the channel was launched in August 2001. Some of the programmes she presents include Blues News, Friday Night Live and Matchnight Live and Paperview.[5] Neil Barnett has been presenting since the launch of the channel in August 2001. He began working for The Blues in the 1980s writing articles for the club's magazine.
