Château des Amerois is a former royal residence and Royal castle in Bouillon, Belgium.

History

Originaly the domain was the property of Theodore van der Noot, 8th Marquess of Assche, who bought it in 1859 . Ten years later it was sold to the King of Belgium for 1.000.000 frank. The castle was rebuilt after a big fire in 1873. In 1877 the campaing started for Prince Philipp of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha by the architect Gustave Saintenoy. The castle was built in a french neogotical style.
