Charles Sherman Haight of Park Ave NY was born August 8, 1870 and died February 20, 1938. He was married to Alice M Hoyt Haight (February 18, 1867-September 30, 1937). He is the grandfather of Charles Sherman Haight. He was an Admiralty Expert, Specialist on International Relations in Shipping, founder of boys school and Founder of Seamen's Church Institute of New York and New Jersey.

His son Charles Sherman Haight Junior, born July 31, 1903, died April 18, 1968 father of Charles Sherman Haight married Miss Helen Margaret Edwards (Born: March 18, 1906, Died: February 28, 1984 ) on September 7, 1929, daughter of Mrs. Oliver Edwards of New York and the late Colonel Edwards in 1929.

Works

He authored a legal book about the laws relating to bills of lading. A Pan-American Financial Conference was held in Washington, D.C., May 24–29, 1915, under the auspices of the United States.

Biography

Haight graduated as a lawyer from Yale Graduate in 1892. He worked at the law firm Haight, Griffin, Deming Gardner and was director of the United States Leather Company and the Maritime Association of the Port of New York.
