Charles Linder (born 1967), aka Cashcowboy, is an American artist.

Early life and education
Linder was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and raised in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. He relocated to Los Angeles after high school where he attended Santa Monica College receiving his AA. He received a scholarship to finish his BFA at the San Francisco Art Institute in 1990. In 1997 he received his MFA from UC Berkeley in 1997.
Career
After graduation, he opened Refusalon, an alternative art space in his home. Some of the artists shown included Gay Outlaw, David Nash and Bill Daniels, among many others. Refusalon closed in 1999.
In early 2000, he started LINCART, with business partner Alexandra Holly Fouladi. Lincart was featured on the KQED television show, SPARK, in 2004. Lincart has shown artists like Wally Hedrick, Yayoi Kusama, Graham Gillmore, and Tucker Nichols, among many others. Lincart relocated to 1 Otis Street in San Francisco as of August 2009. Lincart Closed in August 2010.
