Charles Robert Alexander (8 November 1847 – 17 February 1902) was an English cricketer and barrister. He was the son of James Alexander and Anna Maria Julia Dalison and was born in Westminster, London.

A right-handed batsman, Alexander made his first-class debut for Kent against the Gentlemen of Marylebone Cricket Club in 1867. During that same season he was the Eton captain. Alexander appeared three further times for Kent, playing his final first-class match for the county in 1869 against Sussex.

From Eton, Alexander went up to King's College, Cambridge, graduating in 1871. He made his debut for the University Cricket Club against Surrey at The Oval in 1870. He played one further first-class match for the University against MCC. In his six first-class matches, Alexander scored 88 runs at a batting average of 9.77, with a high score of 41.

He entered the Middle Temple as a law student in 1868, and Lincoln's Inn in 1873. He was called to the bar in 1874. In later life he was a member of the London Stock Exchange.

He died on 17 February 1902 in Westminster.
