    The airline was established in 1992 and started operations in March 2000. It was founded by Charmaine and Alan Rogers and began operations with a Piper Seneca II. The airline was wholly owned by CK Rogers.

    It discontinued its scheduled services to Mozambique in September 2005, following a reorganization under which its scheduled and charter operations were to be taken over by another operator.

    Charlan Air Charter operated the following services on January 2005:
