Chak shafi pind dadan khan


Chak shafi is a town in Arifwala in Pakpattan district of Punjab province, Pakistan. It is located 20 kilometres (12 mi) from Arifwala, 15 kilometres (9.3 mi) from Pakpattan. The town has some buildings from Sikh and British era. . Pakpattan canal passes through it.

People:

People are mostly traders. Some are government employees and some are private employees, some are agricultural and very few have gone abroad. Some are employed by Pakistan army. Young people are vastly adopting drugs.

Crops:

Land of Chak Shafi is very fertile therefore, crops like wheat, maize, cotton, sugarcane and rice are grown. Vegetables like potato, carrot, pumpkin, onion and tomato are also grown. Irrigation:

For irrigation purposes two canals are extracted from Pakpattan canal. Water turbines are also used for irrigation.

Education:

There are two high schools, Government High School and Government Girls High schools and some other schooling systems.

Safety:

Police station is made at Adda Rangshah for safety
